While I did watch several different cake decorating videos before attempting to use anything in this kit, everything that came with this kit was definitely great for a beginner like me. I did make some practice ones that didn't come out so good, but after practicing on styrofoam, I am really starting to get the hand of it. The pictures I included were of some recent cakes I made with this kit. With regards to the tips, it comes with a little fold out that tells you what each tip will look like when using it. The spinner is my absolute favorite. Really does make it a lot easier to not only frost the cake but actually decorating it. The bags that this kit comes with are reusable and fully washable. I do have to let them soak is warm soapy water due to the grease that is left over from the frosting. I do turn these inside out and then let them soak. Overall, this kit is really easy to use, easy to clean and great for beginners like myself. Even with using these tools on styrofoam to practice on, they still came out looking like an actual cake at times.

I know nothing about this stuff but my wife was so excited to get it. She said it comes with everything she needed for a cake baker starting out. Do they even call themselves "cake bakers?" Who knows. All I know is that she is happy so I am happy. She is going to use it for our baby's first birthday. Very excited to see what she creates.

I had been looking for a nice Cake Turnable Stand. I came across this product and was very surprised at what all came with it for the price! I read a lot of the reviews on the product before I decided to order it. I received my package on Saturday and was excited to open it and see all the stuff that came with it! I was very pleased with everything I had received. I had to make a Birthday Cake for one of my grandkids, so I used the cake turnable and Loved it!! It made icing a cake so much easier and better! I make all my grandkids cakes for their birthdays so this is definitely going to be used a lot. Everything is very good quality the Spatulas are really well made and nice. This cake baking set is for a novice baker like me who wants to dabble in cake decorating . Initially I bought a few items from Micheal s and amazon but it just adds up :( .This kit has all of the basics needed to decorate cakes and I was interested in the collection of tips . I wouldn't compare the quality of the items in this kit to the Wilton ones . But for the price you pay Its awesome in my opinion .
Its a good all in one product and no more hunting for products needed . Happy baking :)

I am an avid baker, but never really decorated cakes before (thought I wouldn't like it) so I am a total beginner when it comes to cakes, I've never even used piping tips before! I had two birthday parties back to back that I had to make cakes for. I was quoted $50 on a basic paw patrol cake $70 for a ladybug cake and thought "I can do that myself." I found this set right here and it is PERFECT for what I needed! Everything is easy to use, my only problem I ran into was learning how to use the icing (in no way reflects the product) but that was just part of the learning process. I literally had everything I needed in this set to make two cute cakes, and the brush it comes with was super convenient for cleaning the tips. The ladybug cake wasn't really perfect because it was 95° outside and let my frosting get too warm (my bad, oops). I learned how to manage better for the paw patrol cake. I HIGHLY recommend this set, I love cake decorating now!!

I really love this set. Sadly, I lost all of my baking supplies recently, and have had to start over collecting it again. I purchased this kit because of the good reviews. I REALLY wanted the turntable. But was also interested in the tips, spreaders, flower nails, and reusable piping bags. I didn't expect much going in, honestly. But everything is just great! I've seen a lot of other reviews on "off brand" piping tips and so many say they are bent, or flimsy, and these are neither. They did not arrive bent, they are well shaped, and they feel strong. I looove the addition of the tip cleaner. (For anybody that has ever stood there with hot water running trying to melt the frosting out of your piping tips. Lol.) You really can not beat it for the price, and I highly recommend it for anybody who is just starting, or is looking to collect pieces without breaking the bank. It also comes packaged really well, which is always a bonus if you are going to gift it, too!

I could turn my cake and use the tools to smooth out the frosting and blend the different colors together. This kit has everything to make the coolest designs with frosting.
